Quazar is a funk and P-Funk band, formed in 1978 by Glenn Goins, a former member of Parliament-Funkadelic. The band, known for its distinctive blend of funk, rock, and soul, was significant in continuing the Parliament-Funkadelic legacy after Goins' departure. Despite Goins' untimely death during the production of their eponymous debut album, "Quazar" released in 1978, the band carried on, solidifying their place in funk history. Their fusion of different music styles and the continuation of the P-Funk genre make them a notable ensemble in the musical landscape.
