Quiet Riot

Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band that was founded in Los Angeles in 1973. The band gained international attention in 1983 with their cover of Slade's "Cum On Feel The Noize," which helped their album 'Metal Health' become the first heavy metal album to top the Billboard charts. Notable members include Kevin DuBrow, whose distinctive vocal style played a significant role in defining the band's sound, and Randy Rhoads, who went on to play with Ozzy Osbourne. Quiet Riot's energetic performances and rebellious lyrics played a pivotal role in the popularization of heavy metal in the 1980s.
