Red Crayola

Red Crayola, also known as The Red Krayola, is an American underground rock band founded in 1966 by Mayo Thompson, a key figure in the band's continuous lineup. Known for their experimental, avant-garde sound, they incorporate elements of psychedelia, free jazz, and noise rock in their music. Their album "Parable of Arable Land" (1967) is considered a milestone in the psychedelic genre. Despite their limited commercial success, Red Crayola's influence is significant in the development of punk and indie rock, with their pioneering use of non-traditional and deconstructed song structures.
