The Riverboat Gamblers are an American punk rock band formed in Denton, Texas in 1997. Known for their high-energy performances and raw, fast-paced sound, they combine elements of punk rock, garage rock, and power pop. Lead vocalist Mike Wiebe is notable for his distinctive, intense performance style. One of their most influential works, "Underneath the Owl" (2009), is recognized for its fusion of rock subgenres and spirited lyrics.
