Rock-A-Teens

The Rock-A-Teens were an American rockabilly group from Richmond, Virginia, active in the late 1950s. Led by vocalist and guitarist Vic Mizelle, their sound was characterized by raw, energetic rock and roll with strong elements of country and western music. The band is most known for their single "Woo-Hoo," which became a top 20 hit in the United States and was later popularized through its inclusion in several films and commercials. Despite their brief tenure, the Rock-A-Teens are remembered for their spirited performances and for contributing to the early development of rockabilly music.
