Roger James Cooke, better known as Roger Cook, is a British singer and songwriter born in 1940. His musical style is primarily pop, but he has also delved into country and folk genres. Cook is renowned for being part of the songwriting duo Cook and Greenaway, who wrote numerous hits for popular artists in the 1960s and 70s, including the Hollies and the Fortunes. His most influential work is arguably "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing," originally written for a Coca-Cola commercial and later becoming a hit for the New Seekers.
