Ron & Bill, a short-lived musical duo, was composed of Motown Records' artists and songwriters Ronald White and William "Smokey" Robinson. Known for their distinctive doo-wop style, the duo was notable for their harmonious vocal pairings and lyrical storytelling, primarily in the early 1960s. Despite their limited discography, Ron & Bill made a significant contribution to Motown's unique sound, with Robinson's vocal and songwriting talents later coming to full fruition as the front man of The Miracles. Their most notable work is a single titled "It", released in 1958.
