Rough Diamond was a short-lived British rock band formed in 1976. The group was notable for featuring former Deep Purple singer David Coverdale and ex-Widowmaker guitarist Clem Clempson. Their music style was rooted in hard rock, with elements of blues and progressive rock. Despite releasing only one self-titled album in 1977, the band made a significant impact on the rock scene due to the high profiles of its members and their fusion of different rock styles.
