Rusty & Doug were an American country music and Cajun music duo composed of brothers Rusty and Doug Kershaw. Active between the 1950s and 1970s, they were instrumental in popularizing the fiddle-driven sound of Louisiana's bayou music on the national stage. Their signature song, "Louisiana Man," was the first song broadcast back to earth from the Apollo 12 moon mission. The duo's unique blend of country and Cajun influences significantly contributed to the development of the swamp pop genre.
