Sha Na Na

Sha Na Na is an American rock and roll group that gained prominence in the late 1960s and 1970s for their renditions of doo-wop hits from the 1950s. Known for their stylized performances featuring gold lamé, pompadour hair, and their choreographed dance routines, the band played a pivotal role in the revival of the doo-wop genre. Notably, they performed at the 1969 Woodstock festival, and their version of the song "At The Hop" features in the festival's documentary film. The band also had a successful syndicated television variety show, "Sha Na Na," which aired from 1977 to 1981.
