Solo was a Dutch pop band, recognizable for their distinctive fusion of pop and rock with a touch of folk music. The band was formed in 1996 by musicians Michiel Flamman and Simon Gitsels, who were the only two constant members throughout the band's history. Solo's most influential work is arguably their debut album, "Songs 'n Sounds", which was well-received in their home country of the Netherlands. Their unique sound and memorable lyrics have secured Solo's place in the Dutch music scene.
