Southwest F.O.B., an American rock band, was formed in Dallas, Texas, in the late 1960s. The group was renowned for its distinct blend of psychedelic rock and sunshine pop, a signature sound best embodied in their hit single, "Smell of Incense," which reached number 56 on the Billboard Hot 100. Notably, Southwest F.O.B. included future country music star Dan Seals and John Ford Coley, who went on to form the successful duo England Dan & John Ford Coley. Despite their relatively brief existence, Southwest F.O.B. contributed to the burgeoning psychedelic scene of their era.
