Sparkle Moore

Sparkle Moore, born Barbara Morgan in 1939, is an American rockabilly singer and songwriter who made a significant impact on the music scene in the 1950s. Known for her tomboyish style and her unique fusion of rock and country music, she is often referred to as the "Female Elvis". Despite her brief career, Moore's music, particularly her singles "Rock-A-Bop" and "Skull and Crossbones", left a lasting mark on the genre. Though she withdrew from the music industry to start a family, her influence can still be felt in the rockabilly scene today.
