Spontaneous Combustion was a British progressive rock band active from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s. Known for their fusion of hard rock and psychedelic elements, their sound was distinctively enriched by guitarist Gary Margetts' innovative playing style. The band achieved modest commercial success with their self-titled debut album, "Spontaneous Combustion", produced by Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Despite their relatively short career, they made a significant contribution to the progressive rock genre in the early 1970s.
