This 1958 parody of Christmas based on the Scrooge story from Charles Dickens is presented here in all its 6:50 glory. The anti-commercialization message about Christmas still rings true today, and the Scrooges he depicts still exist. The B side is, as the label says, "Stan Freberg Presents His Favorite Carols With The Jud Conlon Chorale and Billy May's Music." Note: This beautiful original pressing has the purple Capitol labels with silver print, which are so nearly flawless I'm grading them Mint. The vinyl and audio grade Near Mint.
