Steve Miller is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter, best known for leading the Steve Miller Band. Emerging in the late 1960s as a blues-rock outfit, the band transitioned to a more mainstream rock sound in the 1970s, producing a string of successful albums and hits including "The Joker," "Fly Like an Eagle," and "Abracadabra." Miller's music, marked by catchy hooks and synthesizer embellishments, has exerted a significant influence on the development of classic and pop rock.
