Stoney and Meat Loaf was a musical duo consisting of Shaun "Stoney" Murphy and Marvin Lee Aday, better known as Meat Loaf. They began their collaboration in the late 1960s, blending elements of rock, soul, and pop in their music. While the duo only released one album, "Stoney & Meatloaf" in 1971, it served as a significant stepping stone for Meat Loaf's future success, particularly with his album "Bat Out of Hell". The duo's distinctive sound was characterized by strong vocal harmonies and dramatic, theatrical arrangements.
