Sunrize was an American R&B and funk band active during the early 1980s. They were known for their distinctive blend of soulful vocals and funky rhythms, reminiscent of the Motown sound. The band was a collaborative project led by singer/songwriter Reggie Calloway, who was also a founding member of the band Midnight Star. Their most influential work is arguably their self-titled album, "Sunrize," released in 1982, which showcased their unique sound and established their place in the R&B music scene.
