Tarika Blue was an influential jazz fusion group active during the 1970s in the United States. Their unique style combined elements of traditional jazz, soul, and funk, which significantly contributed to the evolution of fusion jazz. The band, led by keyboardist Phil Clendeninn, featured notable members such as saxophonist Justo Almario and vocalist Irene Datcher. Their most recognized work, "Dreamflower," became highly influential in the genre and has been frequently sampled by contemporary artists.
