The Apollas were an all-female American soul trio active in the mid to late 1960s. Comprised of Leola Jiles, Ella Jamerson, and Billie Barnum, they made a significant contribution to the Northern Soul scene. Although they never achieved major chart success, their distinctive blend of gospel-infused vocals and uptempo dance tracks, like their 1967 Loma Records release "You're Absolutely Right," have endured in popularity.
