The B Girls

The B Girls were a Canadian all-female punk rock band that formed in Toronto in 1976. Known for their raw and energetic performances, they quickly became fixtures in the city's burgeoning punk scene. The original lineup consisted of Cynthia Ross, Lucasta Ross, Marcy Saddy, and Xenia Splawinsky. Although they never achieved significant commercial success, their only album, "Who Says Girls Can't Rock," released in 1977, is often cited as a seminal work in the genre. Their influence can be seen in later all-female punk and riot grrrl bands.
