The Beau-Marks were a Canadian rock and roll band active from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. Known for their raw, energetic sound, the group carved out a niche in the burgeoning North American rock scene. They are best remembered for their hit "Clap Your Hands," which broke into the Top 10 in the U.S. and the UK, a distinctive achievement for a Canadian band at that time. Notably, band members Joey Frechette and Ray Hutchinson went on to have successful careers in the music industry even after The Beau-Marks disbanded.
