The Belmonts

The Belmonts are an American doo-wop group that originated in the 1950s, known for their tight vocal harmonies and rhythmic, upbeat style. The band, consisting of notable members Carlo Mastrangelo, Fred Milano, and Angelo D'Aleo, rose to fame as the backing group for singer Dion DiMucci, forming the ensemble Dion and The Belmonts. Their most influential work is arguably the hit single "A Teenager in Love," which reached no.5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Belmonts' music encapsulated the youthful energy of the era and significantly contributed to the development of pop and rock music.
