The Beltones were an American punk rock band formed in 1994 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Their music can be characterized by melodic punk influences with gritty vocals and introspective lyrics, a style that was distinctive in the punk scene of the 90s. The band was led by singer/guitarist Bill McFadden, whose raw and emotional songwriting often explored themes of alienation and despair. Their most notable work, "Cheap Trinkets," is still considered an influential album in the punk rock genre. Despite disbanding in 2004, The Beltones left a significant mark on punk music, particularly within the subgenre of street punk.
