The Blendells

The Blendells were a Mexican-American band that emerged in the mid-1960s, primarily known for their contribution to the Chicano rock movement. The band gained prominence with their hit single "La La La La La," a cover of a Stevie Wonder song, which reached number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Despite their brief career, The Blendells played a significant role in the East Los Angeles music scene, highlighting the influence and talent of Latinx musicians in popular music.
