The Blues Magoos were an American psychedelic rock band formed in The Bronx, New York, in 1964. Known for their audacious style characterized by the use of distortion and feedback, they are often credited with pioneering the psychedelic rock genre. The band is most famous for their hit single "We Ain't Got Nothin' Yet", which reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1967. Despite multiple line-up changes, the group's original members included "Peppy" Castro, Ralph Scala, Ronnie Gilbert, Mike Esposito, and Geoff Daking.
