The Brothers Four

The Brothers Four is an American folk singing group, best known for their 1960 hit song, "Greenfields." Formed in 1957 at the University of Washington, original members Bob Flick, John Paine, Mike Kirkland, and Dick Foley were pioneers in the popularization of 1960s folk revival. Their harmonious blend of voices, accompanied by guitar and banjo, embodies a distinctive, smooth folk style. The Brothers Four's music has had enduring influence, with their albums continuing to be reissued internationally.
