The Debs

"The Debs" is a relatively obscure girl group from the 1960s Motown era. Known for their harmonious blend of rhythm and blues, soul, and pop, their music is characterized by strong vocal harmonies and catchy melodies. Although not as commercially successful as some of their contemporaries, their contribution to the Motown sound is noteworthy. Their most significant work, "Under a Streetlight," embodies their signature sound and is often referenced in discussions about 1960s girl groups.
