The Fall

The Fall was a seminal English post-punk band formed in 1976 by vocalist Mark E. Smith, who remained the only constant member throughout numerous lineup changes. Their music style, characterized by repetitive, garage rock-influenced backing overlaid with Smith's distinctive, ranting vocals, helped define the post-punk movement. The Fall released around 60 albums, including influential works like "Hex Enduction Hour" and "This Nation's Saving Grace". Despite never achieving widespread commercial success, the band's impactful sound and Smith's unique lyrical approach have left an indelible mark on the alternative music scene.
