The Five Wings

The Five Wings were an American doo-wop group active in the mid-1950s. The band, consisting of Jerome Hanna, Edna Holt, Howard Guyton, Leo and Tommy "TJ" Strothers, was known for its harmonious vocals and soulful rhythm, typical of the doo-wop genre. They gained recognition with their single "Teardrops Are Falling," which showcased their signature sound. Despite having a relatively short career, The Five Wings contributed to the popularization of doo-wop and left an indelible mark on the American music scene of the 1950s.
