The Fleshtones are an American garage rock band, formed in Queens, New York in 1976. They are often credited with being part of the vanguard of the punk rock movement, distinguishing themselves with a mixture of rock and roll, R&B, and surf music, a style they dubbed "Super Rock". The consistent members, Peter Zaremba (vocals, organ) and Keith Streng (guitar, vocals), have kept the band active for over four decades. Their influential work includes "Roman Gods" and "Hexbreaker", both notable for their energetic, danceable sound.
