The Fondas are a garage pop band that emerged in the early 2000s from Detroit, Michigan. Their sound is a fusion of 60s girl-group harmonies, surf-rock instrumentation, and garage-rock energy, characterized by the distinctive lead vocals of Julie Benjamin. The band, which includes key members Marc Watt and Bantam Rooster's Thomas Jackson Potter, gained recognition for their debut album, "Coming Now!" which was released by Sympathy for the Record Industry.
