The Four J's

The Four J's were a mid-20th century American doo-wop group, known for their smooth vocal harmonies and rhythm & blues influenced sound. They rose to prominence in the late 1950s and were a significant part of the doo-wop wave that swept the United States during that time. The group was composed of four members: Johnny "J" Jones, Jerome "Jerry" Jackson, Jesse "Jay" Jameson, and John "Junior" Johnson, each contributing to the band's unique vocal blend. Their most influential work, the hit single "Here Am I Broken Hearted," is widely recognized within the genre.
