The Goodees were an American pop trio from Memphis, Tennessee, active during the late 1960s. Comprised of Sandra Jackson, Judy Williams, and Kathy Burdick, the group was notably mentored by the songwriting team of Isaac Hayes and David Porter. Their musical style, characterized by sweet harmonies and a soulful pop sound, was similar to that of the popular girl groups of the time. Although their single "Condition Red," a tragic teen melodrama, was a regional hit, the Goodees didn't achieve widespread commercial success, but remain a notable part of Memphis' rich musical history.
