The Humblebums were a Scottish folk band formed in the late 1960s. The group was notable for its two principal members, Billy Connolly and Gerry Rafferty, both of whom went on to achieve substantial solo success. The band's music blended traditional Scottish folk with pop sensibilities, and their lyrics often showcased Connolly's humorous storytelling. Despite their brief existence, they were influential within the folk scene, and their 1969 album "The New Humblebums" is considered a significant work in the genre.
