The Kendall Sisters were an American vocal duo, active in the late 1950s and early 1960s, composed of sisters Jo Ann and Jean Kendall. They are best known for their 1958 hit single "Yea Yea", which combined elements of pop and doo-wop. Although their impact was brief, they contributed to the landscape of post-war American pop music. The sisters' harmonious vocals and wholesome image were notable facets of their style during a period of significant transition in popular music.
