The Luv'd Ones were an all-female American garage rock band active from 1966 to 1968, fronted by guitarist and songwriter Char Vinnedge. Hailing from Niles, Michigan, they were known for their raw, aggressive sound and dark, introspective lyrics, unlike many other girl groups of the era. Vinnedge's distinctive guitar playing, combined with her emotive vocals, gave the band a unique edge. While they didn't achieve significant commercial success, their music, notably the album "Truth Gotta Stand," is recognized for its influence on later punk and indie rock bands.
