The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are an American band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1983. They are credited as one of the progenitors of the ska-punk genre, a fusion of ska, punk rock, and hardcore punk. Their distinctive sound is characterized by the prominent use of horns, deep bass lines, and the gravelly vocals of lead singer Dicky Barrett. The band’s most influential work is arguably the 1997 album "Let's Face It," featuring their breakthrough hit "The Impression That I Get."
