"The Mirage" was a British psychedelic pop band primarily active during the late 1960s. Their musical style was characterized by harmonic vocal melodies and jangly, guitar-driven arrangements, closely resembling the contemporary sounds of The Beatles and The Hollies. Despite their brief period of activity, The Mirage's most influential work, "Tomorrow Never Knows," is considered one of the most innovative covers of the famous Beatles song. Band members included Dave Hynes, Pete Hynes, and Ray Glynn, who later gained recognition in other U.K. music circuits.
