The Motors

The Motors were a British pub rock band, formed in London in 1977 by Nick Garvey and Andy McMaster. Known for their blend of energetic rock and power pop, they achieved notable chart success with hits like "Airport" and "Love and Loneliness". Garvey's distinctive vocal style and McMaster's keyboard-driven melodies were key elements of their sound. Despite their relatively short career, ending in 1980, The Motors made an indelible mark on the late 70s British rock scene.
