The Quick

The Quick was an American power pop band active from 1975 to 1978, prominently known in the Los Angeles punk rock scene. Their musical style combined elements of pop, punk, and glam rock, with notable influences from 1960s British Invasion bands. The lineup included notable musicians like Danny Wilde, later of The Rembrandts fame, and keyboardist Steven Hufsteter who went on to form the Cruzados. The band's most influential work, "Mondo Deco" (1976), is considered a seminal release in the power pop genre.
