The Racket Squad was a mid-1960s American pop rock band from Pennsylvania, notable for their smooth harmonies and pop-oriented sound. Led by singer-songwriter Sonny DiNunzio, previously of The Fenways and The Igniters, the band had regional success with a number of singles. Their most successful track, "The Loser", embodies their signature sound, combining elements of the British Invasion with American pop. Despite their limited national impact, The Racket Squad remains a significant part of the mid-60s pop rock landscape.
