The Ray Charles Singers

The Ray Charles Singers

The Ray Charles Singers were a vocal group formed in the 1950s, led by the American musician and conductor Ray Charles, not to be confused with the legendary blues singer of the same name. Known for their choral work, the group's style leaned heavily towards easy listening and included both traditional pop standards and contemporary hits. They gained prominence through their regular appearances on The Perry Como Show. Their most notable work is perhaps the 1964 hit, "Love Me with All Your Heart". Despite the group's dissolution in the 1980s, their music continues to be a staple in the genre of choral and easy-listening music.
