The Reactions were an American punk rock band, active during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Known for their raw energy and distinctive garage punk sound, they contributed to the development of the punk scene in South Florida. The band was fronted by lead singer and guitarist Charlie Pickett, who went on to have a successful solo career. Despite their short-lived existence, The Reactions left a significant mark, especially with their influential track "Official Release," which is often cited as a seminal piece in the punk rock genre.
