The Rockin R's

The Rockin' R's were an American rockabilly band that emerged in the late 1950s. Hailing from Illinois, their music was characterized by a blend of country, rock and roll, and rhythm and blues, typical of the rockabilly genre. Though not broadly recognized in mainstream music history, their 1959 hit, "Crazy Baby," has enduring significance as a classic example of early rockabilly sound. The band's lineup, including members like Buck Saunders and Dickie Harrell, contributed to their distinct Midwestern interpretation of the rockabilly style.
