The Sharpees were an American rhythm and blues band originated in St. Louis, Missouri during the mid-1960s. The group was most known for their soulful vocal harmonies and dynamic instrumental backing. The original lineup featured Herbert Reeves, Horace Brooks, and Vernon Guy, producing their most notable hit, "Do The 45", which became a Northern Soul classic. Despite their limited discography, The Sharpees' influence on the St. Louis music scene and their contribution to the rhythm and blues genre are significant.
