The Spokesmen were an American pop group formed in the mid-1960s, consisting notably of John Madara and David White. Primarily a studio group, they were known for their folk-rock style, with a particular focus on politically and socially-themed songs. Their most recognized work is the single "Dawn of Correction", a response to Barry McGuire's protest song, "Eve of Destruction". Despite their brief existence, The Spokesmen made a significant contribution to the protest music genre of the era.
