The Tractors is an American country rock band, formed in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1988. The band's unique sound, a blend of boogie, swing, rock and roll, and country, is largely attributed to its key members, Steve Ripley, Ron Getman, and Jamie Oldaker. Their eponymous debut album, released in 1994, achieved multi-platinum status and produced popular singles like "Baby Likes to Rock It". The Tractors’ fusion of various musical styles and their commercial success significantly contributed to the diversification of the country music genre in the 1990s.
