The White Stripes

The White Stripes was an American rock duo formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan, consisting of Jack White (vocals, guitar) and Meg White (drums). Their music style was a unique blend of garage rock, blues, and punk, with a minimalist approach characterized by simple song structures and a raw, lo-fi sound. The band's 2003 album, "Elephant," which includes the hit single "Seven Nation Army," has been particularly influential in the rock music scene. Despite their dissolution in 2011, The White Stripes' distinctive sound continues to influence contemporary music.
