Known for their unique blend of raw, psychedelic, Afrobeat-inspired sounds, the duo has made significant contributions to the contemporary global funk scene. They rose to prominence with their debut album "In The Raw" (2002) and solidified their reputation with "Earthology" (2009), both noted for their distinctive, rhythmically intense soundscapes. Jan, who is also the founding member of the Poets of Rhythm, is especially recognized for his percussive excellence.
